DreamSpring Releases Upgrade of DreamConnect 2

Gold Coast, Australia, 29 May 2007 - DreamSpring announced the upgrade of DreamConnect 2, a ground-breaking contact manager for Symbian UIQ smartphones.

DreamSpring released the second upgrade of DreamConnect 2 for Symbian smartphones running on UIQ 2, adding an important feature to allow easier transfer of contacts data.

DreamConnect 2 v2.6 features the major addition of import/export functionality. This allows users to export their contacts' details in vCard format to the UIQ 3 platform. Contacts fields and categories exported will stay the same in DreamConnect 3.

This allows compatibility between DreamConnect 2 on UIQ 2 and DreamConnect 3 on UIQ 3. Users can now easily move their database across to a newer platform without any data loss or hassle.

This upgrade has improved on the scrolling of detail view, making navigating through contact details faster by skipping over non-actionable items.

Other ground-breaking features of Dreamconnect 2 includes a lighting fast Smart find tool to search all text and numbers within the user's contact database, dynamic messaging that allows users to send context based sms and email to a selected group on the fly, and powerful hierarchical folders that allows users to organise contacts in multi-levels that reflect reality.
