DreamConnect 2 offers unique features and powerful functions that makes managing your contacts effortless. DreamConnect 2's features include:

Smart Find

Customisable searches on any information within the contact list.

Smart find allows any number of search rules to be applied to your contacts list. Search rules are combined using "and" and "or" logic operators. Search rules can specify any contact detail and whether the search text is contained in the detail or exactly matches it.

Smart find searches can be defined either in a friendly dialog, or via a powerful text syntax.

Send to Multiple Contacts

Send any type of message to more than one contact, specifying the type of address (work and/or home)

Contacts Database Integration

Share the standard Contacts database so that new contacts are immediately accessible, without having to manually import or export them.

Original Contact Editor

Use own contact details editor and view for seamless operation and less confusion. Return to its own detail view after you finish editing without the need to restart DreamConnect.

Formatted Contact Card

Clearly display contact details in the format of a business card. Most viewed information can be located at a glance.

Undo/Redo

Allow information to be undone or redone during editing as many times as you want without the risk of losing data or the need to re-enter data.

Multiple Categories Per Contact

Assign more than one category to a contact, just like the real world. New categories can be easily created and edited.

Attach and Detach a Category from Multiple Contacts

A category can be attached and detached from multiple contacts with a single command.

Intelligent Contact Merge

Select contacts to merge via cut and paste. At the press of a button, duplicate contact entries will be merged automatically without the need to cut and paste field by field. It will intelligently compare data from the 2 contacts and update particular fields.

Customisable Contact Layout

Arrange contact details to display in the order and format that works best for you.

Category Specific Layout

Create a special layout for any category. When the category is current, its specific layout is automatically applied to the contacts detail view, highlighting information that is important to contacts belonging to that category.

Multiple Notes Per Contact

Create as many private and public notes as required for a contact. All notes will be included as part of the contact's record.

Fast Filter

Quickly narrow down the list of contacts as you type in the letters to locate the exact contact you are after.

Search History

Clearly display the current search. Remember and display up to 8 previous searches.

Multi-Function List View

Select, copy, delete and assign categories to one or more contacts all from the one location, saving you time and effort performing the same action multiple times.

Sort

Information can be quickly reorganised according to the preferred way you want to view your contacts details.

SMS & MMS Jog Dial Access

Select the contact method using just the jog-dial, scrolling through the various options in the details view. No need to pull out the stylus to tap on the icons anymore.

Cancel Changes

Cancel undesirable changes made to contact details with one click. No need to retype information.

Return to Detail View

Remember the last contact lookup location for you to return to after you finish editing.

Delete Labels

Labels that are not used or contain no information in the edit view can be deleted, saving you from scrolling down the page each time you edit the contact.

Duplicate Contact

Duplicate contacts can be created with one key press. No need to copy and paste.

Hotkey Access to Browser

Allow direct access from within DreamConnect to the browser and return to the last view when you finish browsing the internet.

Import/Export vCard files

You can import or export contacts in vCard format. DreamConnect's import/export functionality supports all details, including multiple address details, as well as categories.
