Contacts Database Integration

Share the standard contacts database so that new contacts are immediately accessible, without having to manually import or export them.

Finger Friendly

DreamConnect 3 is now even easier to use without the need to pull out the stylus. Special features have been added to achieve this, such as the on-screen toolbar for common functions (New contact, Edit contact, Smart find and Clear find), and touch gestures to scroll sideways through contact details and vertically through the contact list.

Dynamic Group Messaging  Industry first!

Dynamic group messaging allows you to send context based SMS, MMS or email messages to a savable group of contacts. This flexible approach gives you the ability to add and remove group members or change message type and context quickly and easily.

Smart Find  Industry first!

Smart find is an advanced and sophisticated search tool that allows you to customise and combine search rules to locate information anywhere within your contacts database. You can perform specific searches on all text and numbers by using an unlimited number of search rules.

Key Match  Industry first!

Searching using the fast filter is now even faster thanks to key match, which matches the pattern of letters found on each key of the keypad and searches for any combination of these letters at the same time.

Hierarchical Sub Folders  Industry first!

Powerful tree-structured relationship management with contacts belonging to all of a folder's parents. Allows for specific categorisation without losing access to the benefits of more general categorisation.

Business Card Layout  Unique to DreamConnect 3

Clearly display contact details in the format of a business card. Most viewed information can be located at a glance.

Message from List View

This unique feature allows SMS and email directly from the list view.

Undo/Redo Industry first!

Allow information to be undone or redone during editing as many times as you want without the risk of losing data or the need to re-enter data.

SMS & MMS Jog Dial Access Industry first!

Select the contact method using just the jog-dial, scrolling through the various options in the details view. No need to pull out the stylus to tap on the icons anymore.

Multiple Categories Per Contact

Assign more than one category to a contact, just like the real world. New categories can be easily created and edited.

Attach and Detach a Category from Multiple Contacts

A category can be attached and detached from multiple contacts with a single command.

Intelligent Contact Merge Industry first!

Select contacts to merge via cut and paste. At the press of a button, duplicate contact entries will be merged automatically without the need to cut and paste field by field. It will intelligently compare data from the 2 contacts and update particular fields.

Customisable Contact Layout Industry first!

Arrange contact details to display in the order and format that works best for you.

Category Specific Layout Industry first!

Create a special layout for any category. When the category is current, its specific layout is automatically applied to the contacts detail view, highlighting information that is important to contacts belonging to that category.

Multiple Notes Per Contact Industry first!

Create as many private and public notes as required for a contact. All notes will be included as part of the contact's record. This is a great feature, as notes can be searched using smart find, making your contacts more useful than you ever thought possible.

Fast Filter

Quickly narrow down the list of contacts as you type in the letters to locate the exact contact you are after. It will filter last names and first names simultaneously, making this a convenient, powerful search tool.

Search History

In smart find, a search history of up to 8 items is kept for quick reference later, perfect if you are a repeat user of the same searches. Fast filter also remembers and displays your last search when you return to the list view.

Multi-function List View

Select, copy, delete and assign categories to one or more contacts all from the one location, saving you time and effort performing the same action multiple times.

Fast Zoom Access

Tap the DreamConnect 3 icon in the list view to reveal a fast access menu to alter the zoom level in just 2 touches.

Cancel Changes

Cancel undesirable changes made to contact details with one click. No need to retype information.

Return to Detail View

Remembers the last contact lookup location for you to return to after you finish editing.

Delete Labels

Labels that are not used or contain no information in the edit view can be deleted, saving you from scrolling down the page each time you edit the contact.

Duplicate Contact

Duplicate contacts can be created with one key press. No need to copy and paste.

Hotkey Access to Browser

Allow direct access from within DreamConnect to the browser and return to the last view when you finish browsing the internet.

Import/Export Contacts

DreamConnect 3 now has full import and export functionality. Users are able to import/export contact details along with groups and, optionally, private notes.

DreamConnect 3 supports English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Hong Kong Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Czech, Taiwan Traditional Chinese and Danish languages, including online help*.
