This page lists all known defects in DreamConnect. Included is a brief description of the defect, and a link to the fix and/or workaround.

netBook Trial Version Crash Crashes when trying to create the demonstration database for the trial version. Fixed
netBook Generated Database Crashes Application Crashes when displaying hard-coded sort rules containing fields that a netBook generated database does not have, e.g.Home country field doesn't exist in some databases. Fixed
Contact Display Causes Crash Attempting to display a particular contact in a user's database causes a Panic 21. Fixed
Not found error When a new contact is entered that will not be displayed in the current category, it causes a "Not found" error, and can cause crashes on restarting DreamConnect Fixed
Preferences can crash Attempting to display the Prefrences dialog when there are no contacts in the Contacts list will crash DreamConnect Fixed
German netBook database causes crash When a German netBook database is used, DreamConnect crashes on startup. Even if DreamConnect did not crash, many of the fields are missing. Fixed
Restarting with empty current category crashes When DreamConnect is closed with a current category that contains no contacts (apart from the Any category), it will crash when attempting to restart it. Fixed
Quickjump to nonexistent first letter crashes German version

When the German version of DreamConnect is used to Quickjump to the first letter in a contact, but there are no contacts matching that letter, the program crashes.

The problem is due to a buffer-overflow panic.
